Great point at the end of the show..we're going to lose some games. We managed to get through this stretch (v. Rays, @ Tigers, @ Terrordome, v. Yankees) without losing any ground. We're 1.5 back with a decent slate of games coming up this month..

My roommate, a die hard Cubs fan, and I got into a discussion about
Konerko v. Lee a week ago. He put together this and is posting it on
Bleed Cubbies Blue and South Side Sox. His 2 hours of statistical
analysis basically backs up what I told him in 8 seconds..there is no
way that the Sox would trade Konerko for Lee and no way the Cubs would
trade Lee for Konerko. Lee has a statistical edge; Konerko gets the
intangible edge. Unless the Cubs somehow win a World Series with Lee as
a key piece, there is no way he'll ever be more valuable to Cubs fans
than Konerko is to the Sox (in my opinion)..
