I love the AJ "I don't know what you're talking about" bits. Cracks me up every time!

Cinch 4 Stench: My hopes and dreams for this White Sox season. I don't wanna play this game anymore, it's too depressing.

always enjoy the show on really bad weeks, as you guys help dull the pain.

i'm probably a little less confident in the sox, but a lot of these losses are out of division. if we can get our wins in the al central, we can still make a difference.

belated c4s: joey cora (going out on a limb here)

I agree with Duke, I don't even want to pick a cinch for stench anymore, it's just not fun.

Fortunately I didn't watch most of the no-hitter yesterday. I got home and turned on the TV, flipped over to the game, and there was probably 10 to 15 seconds or so of them showing Francisco Liriano making some warm-up throws with no graphics on the screen and no one talking. At which point I thought to myself "Fuck! This can't be a good sign." That was right at the beginning of the bottom of the ninth. Here's a classic Ozzie quote from after: "As a manager, I was bad during the game. I was worse before the game because I made out the lineup."

So here's my entirely-too-specific prediction for the next two days. Today Humber will beat Felix Hernandez 2-1. Those two runs will not be from stringing some hits together and having a decent inning or anything like that, they will be solo homers from CQ and Lillibridge. However, that'll tease the collective cock of all the Sox fans just enough. Then Floyd will lose 6-0 to Fister tomorrow and we'll all feel gullible and depressed again.

Shane, you were really close in your predictions...just a little reversed, but you got the numbers down pretty well.
