A couple of months ago, I asked you to comment on which player would need to get "hot" in order for the team to turn things around. Not sure who said which, but the answers were Alexi and Gavin Floyd.
1) Has the team gotten "hot?"
2) If so, who is the key to this?
3) If not, do you stick with your original answers?
Thanks guys and love the podcast.
I think Gordon is the key right now.
It warmed the cockles of my heart to get a mention on the show this week!
Just an idea for the "boring show": I'd like to hear your guys take on some big picture issues for the Sox going forward. Like whether they should be buyers or sellers, and what direction you think this team should be going.
Anyway, another stellar show this week, thanks guys!
oral sox talking stats? perish the thought. just keep on ranting about linebrink!
i'd say beckham has been a part of the recent success, but i think the whole bottom of the order has played a notch better recently, and it's helped push the sox over in these wins.
and as for the brandon allen trade, my guess (unfounded) is that viciedo will shift to first if beckham keeps his 3B position.
and i'm the original dave!
Great show. I think you guys should add a segment on the best Hawkism of each week. I know this has become a popular and maybe overplayed topic amongst sox bloggers, but I would love to hear your hawk impressions.
My favorite lately has been the second "yes!" that he adds after a big homer. Or even a "hell yes!" or "Hell yeah!" (ie: after Paulie's grand slam).
Keep it up, your hour makes my Mondays at work bearable.
We need more updates on the quest to date a pride crew chick. What's being done on that front?
