Mark has been the man for years on the Southside, from signing long term for the hometown discount, sliding on tarp during rain delays, the no-hitter in 06 and now a the perfect game for a perfect man, a class act in an age of sports controlled by the mighty dollar. Mark could not be happier for you. You are a true White Soc. Thanks

Perfect game - fine.
Being tied for first - fine.

But everyone missed the bad news of the day...

Ramon Castro shaved his General Underbite facial hair! This is a disaster!

Had an awesome day. A co-worker runs into my office and let's me know that Buehrle is on track for a perfect game.

I force a guy that works with me to bring it up on mlb.com. He's a Cub fan and bitter to boot. As Buehrle gets the job done, I exclaim: "he's got a no-hitter, a perfect game, and a championship ring!" The look on his face was priceless.

awesome stuff - buehrle, with konerko, has been the face of the franchise for years, and this just adds to his stature in white sox history.

i suppose we have to thank racist ozzie guillen for hating brian anderson so much, as it allowed dweeze to make the catch. unbelievable.

Say what you want about Hawk, but it was a great call..

How is this guy only 132-90 for his career?

Greinke who? Zambrano what?
